Sorta.

It's been a hell of a year. Hell of two years, actually. But, I think, I hope, things are going to settle down now. I finally seemed to have found a job that is stable and I enjoy. I'm still breaking things (car, TV, new computer to name a few), but slowly they are all getting fixed. I lost a family member recently, and that is something that will stay with me forever. Yet overall, for the first time in a few years, I'm actually hopeful.

Now maybe I can actually clear my head and get back to taking pictures, writing stories, maybe even drawing crap here and there. We shall see. But thanks to those who have stuck by me, listened to me friggen whine and cry, offered advice.

You are all very cool.

I didn't think I'd like the game much, but I get enough. I finished the first two, was about to import the third until I heard it would be released in the US this fall. Now I'm searching for the manga, which I've read online but want to own for myself.

*sigh*

So I was late for work today...

Because I saw some of the coolest tiny mushrooms in my lawn while walking to my car. I went back into the house and got my camera, then spent ten minutes trying to get a decent photo of them.

I'm so lame.

I really haven't had time to take any pictures, write, or draw lately--let alone breathe. If I can make it through this month, I think I'll be ok. Work will start to slow down; at least I hope so or I think I might die.

That being said, once I do have some time to call my own, and by time I don't mean a few minutes here and a few minutes there, I'll probably be putting more creative things (writing, pictures, muses, icons, etc) on my new lj account (thanks to J00ks3r for convincing me to get one...hee hee). I've made it friends only, or whatever that is called, but leave me a comment or something if your so inclined to view my nonsensical, incoherant ramblings.

Just got home...

from my vacation at the Oregon coast. It was a lot of fun, but why are long vacations always so tiring? I took my new camera with me, as you can all see. I'm having a ton of fun with the thing. Photography is pretty new to me, so a lot of shots turn out crappy, but I think I've gotten a handful of good ones out of sheer luck. *laughs* I find myself wanting a bigger, badder camera already.

Work lately has been grueling. 50 plus hours each week, non-stop drama. It's totally crazy. I'm looking forward to the seasonal lay-off, but at the same time, I'm nervous they'll just cut me loose again. *sigh* We'll see.

Until then, I'll just keep taking pictures.
